1. Introduction

1.1 League of Kingdoms recognizes that people who use League of Kingdoms value their privacy. This Privacy Policy details important information regarding the collection, use and disclosure of User information collected on any internet domain names containing leagueofkingdoms.com/ and registered with NPLUS Entertainment Pte. Ltd., NOD Games Inc., and its affiliated entities, and any other features, tools and/or materials offered from time to time by League of Kingdoms client (the “LOK Client” hereafter). League of Kingdoms provides this Privacy Policy to help you understand how your personal information is used by us and your choices regarding our use of it. By using the Sites or LOK Client, you agree that we can collect, use, disclose, and process your information as described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy only applies to the Sites and LOK Client, and not to any other websites, products or services you may be able to access or link to via the Site or LOK Client. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any other websites you visit before providing your information to them.

The LOK Client, the smart contracts and the sites are collectively referred to in these Privacy Policy as the “Apps” hereafter.

NOD Games, NPLUS Entertainment, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control are collectively referred to in these Terms and Privacy Policy as the “We” or “Us” hereafter.

While our values will not shift, the Apps will evolve over time, and this Privacy Policy will change to reflect that evolution. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about our practices.

Some of our third-party providers may place cookies or pixels - small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory - on your browser or hard drive. Note that this Privacy Policy does not cover the use of cookies or pixels by such third parties. Most web browsers are set to accept cookies and pixels by default, but you can usually set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies or pixels. If you do choose to remove or reject cookies or pixels, however, your ability to use the Apps might be affected.

1.2 This Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Use. By accessing the Apps, you are consenting to the information collection and use practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1.3 Your use of the LOK Client and any personal information you provide through the LOK Client remains subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use, as each may be updated from time to time.

2. Information We Collect

The personal information we collect from you generally may include:

Network information regarding transactions, including, among other things, the type of device you use, access times, hardware model, operating system and version, and other unique device identifiers (such as your device ID, advertising ID, MAC address, IMEI)

2.2. Blockchain information

Information about plugins you might be using including but not limited to those related to the management of cryptocurrency assets and any information provided by them.

2.3 Interaction data

We may receive network information from you as a result of your interaction with our Apps. We also may receive Data about your use of the Service, such as gameplay data and your interactions with other players inside the application. Your interactions with the Site may be documented via tracking softwares.

2.4 Personal information

We may receive certain personal information, including, but not limited to, your name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, taxpayer identification number, government identification number and scans of government-issued identity documents. 

2.5 Browser permissions

Our Apps require the highest level of browser permissions that could potentially lead to the procurement of more personal information. Information on how we use these permissions for a limited purpose, and why this is necessary, can be found in paragraph 3 below.

2.6 Enhanced Due Diligence

We may require you to submit additional information about yourself or your business, provide records or documentation, or have face to face meetings with representatives of NOD Games, NPLUS Entertainment, Argos  and/or other third-party professional service providers (such process, "Enhanced Due Diligence"). We reserve the right to charge you any costs and fees associated with such Enhanced Due Diligence.

3. The ways we use your Personal Information

3.1 As with nearly all interactions that take place on the World Wide Web, our servers may receive information by virtue of your interaction with them, including but not limited to IP Addresses.

3.2 Our Apps require full browser permissions that could potentially be used to access additional personal information. Such browser permissions are used for an extremely limited technical purpose for allowing the LOK Client to properly interact with your browser.

3.3 We may obtain and/or share some or all of your Personal Data with our parent company, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control (“we” hereafter), in which case we will require our Affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy.

3.4 We may use tracking softwares for purposes of monitoring web traffic.

3.5 Public blockchains provide transparency into transactions and League of Kingdoms is not responsible for preventing or managing information broadcasted on a blockchain.

3.6 As Legally Required. Regardless of any choices you make regarding your Personal Data (as described below), our Apps may disclose Personal Data if it believes in good faith that such disclosure is necessary (i) in connection with any legal investigation; (ii) to comply with relevant laws or to respond to subpoenas or warrants served on the Apps; (iii) to protect or defend the rights or property of or users of the Apps; and/or (iv) to investigate or assist in preventing any violation or potential violation of the law, this Privacy Policy, or our Terms of Use.

3.7 Other Disclosures. We may also disclose your Personal Data, to fulfill the purpose for which you provide it; for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide it; or with your consent. We do not sell your Personal Data.

4. What We Do With Information We Collect

4.1 We may use the information we collect in the following ways:

Our agreements with these service providers limit the kinds of information they can use or process and ensure they use reasonable efforts to keep your personal information secure.

4.5 We reserve the right to disclose personal information that we believe, in good faith, is appropriate or necessary to enforce our Terms of Use, take precautions against liability or harm, to investigate and respond to third-party claims or allegations, to respond to court orders or official requests, to protect the security or integrity of our Apps, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others.

4.6 In the event that League of Kingdoms is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale, bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditors’ rights generally, or other change of control, there may be a disclosure of your information to another entity related to such event.

5. Your Choices

We may process your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and as part of that, you will have limited or no opportunity to otherwise modify how your information is used by League of Kingdoms, the apps, or our company and its affiliated business.

6. Emails

We will periodically send you free, opt-in newsletters and e-mails that directly promote the use of our Service. When you receive newsletters or promotional communications from us, you may indicate a preference to stop receiving further communications from us and you will have the opportunity to “opt-out” by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the e-mail you receive or by contacting us directly (please see contact information in paragraph (1)). Despite your indicated e-mail preferences, we may send you occasional service related communications.

6. Cookies

League of Kingdoms may use cookies and/or similar tracking technologies to track the activity on the Apps and hold certain information.

Cookies are files with small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. Tracking technologies also used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our Service.

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.

7. Information We Don't Collect

We do not collect any other personally-identifiable information about you unless you give it to us directly: by filling out a form, giving us written feedback, communicating with us via third-party social media sites, or otherwise communicating with us via the Apps or any other means.

We do collect your Ethereum public address, but you should understand that transactions that take place using the Apps are confirmed and managed via the Ethereum blockchain. You understand that your Ethereum public address will be made publicly visible whenever you engage in a transaction that is confirmed and managed via the Ethereum blockchain.

8. Information Security

Whilst neither we, nor any other organization, can guarantee the security of information processed online, we do have appropriate security measures in place to protect your personal information. For example, we store the personal information you provide on computer systems with limited access, encryption, or both.

9. Privacy Rights

9.1 Subject to applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights in respect of your personal information: (i) to obtain a copy of your personal information together with information about how and on what basis that personal information is processed; (ii) to rectify inaccurate personal information (including the right to have incomplete personal information completed); (iii) to erase your personal information (in limited circumstances, where it is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or processed); (iv) to restrict processing of your personal information where: a. the accuracy of the personal information is contested; b. the processing is unlawful but you object to the erasure of the personal information; or c. we no longer require the personal information but it is still required for the establishment, exercise or defense of a legal claim; (v) to challenge processing which we have justified on the basis of a legitimate interest (as opposed to your consent, or to perform a contract with you); (vi) to prevent us from sending you direct marketing; (vii) to withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal information (where that processing is based on your consent); (viii) to object to decisions which are based solely on automated processing or profiling; (ix) in addition to the above, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority.

9.2. If you reside in California or EU, you may request certain general information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
